You can start your adventure in Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms with iconic Dungeons & Dragons characters like Bruenor Battlehammer from R.A. Salvatore's Forgotten Realms novels and Jaheira from Baldur's Gate. As you progress, you have the opportunity to unlock additional Champions through various adventures and events, such as Drizzt Do'urden, Farideh, and Jim Darkmagic.
Gameplay becomes more intricate as you unlock more Champions. Mastering formation strategy is crucial to successfully complete the hundreds of adventures set in a fantasy world based on official Wizards of the Coast D&D books like Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, Tomb of Annihilation, and Curse of Strahd.

The game is regularly updated with limited-time events, giving players opportunities to unlock new Champions and gear for their collection.
Even when you're not actively playing, your adventure continues. Set up your perfect formation and let your Champions battle monsters to earn gold in your absence.
If you missed a limited-time event and want to unlock a specific Champion, you can make use of Time Gates to choose the one you desire.
The Patron System allows you to revisit and replay your favorite adventures with new challenging restrictions, providing even greater rewards.
